Camp Paivika: A Special Place for Special People is a book about two little children visiting a special camp just for them. The camp and the employees are there to help aid special needs children and adults during a camp ground setting.
AbilityFirst Camp Paivika is a special camp for special people, intellectually and/or physically challenged. The families who allow their children or family members to visit the camp can be rest assured they will be in capable hands. This camp is here to allow children and/or adults to go to a camp whereas they may never have had this opportunity. They have a nurse on hand to help with medicine and/or medical needs. They have life guards for swimming and water sports. They also have wonderful counselors to help with their week of fun. The camp offers horse riding, swimming, art and crafts, hiking, baseball, basketball, Frisbee golf, card games, karaoke, and much, much more. Depending on the needs of the individual depends on how much extra help the individual receives. No one is left out!
